Cofton POA Christmas Rally

This year the POA Christmas Rally/getogether was a self booked rally. We did not expect to have so many eager members wanting to meet up and enjoy the POA Christmas but we had over 40 members booked in and we all had a great time! There is so much to see and do at Cofton and the surrounding area. Lots of great walks, easy cycle rides, walking routes, buses to Exeter, Teignmouth etc. there is an onsite swimming pool, good dog walk, shop and first class facilities. Peter and Jan welcomed us all with hot mulled wine and warm mince pies, a group of us cycled to Exeter along the Exe Valley Trail stopping for lunch at Exeter Quay where some visited the Xmas market, a few  cycled to Sidmouth (but wished they hadnt! it was a bit too far) Most of us met up in the evening for drinks and chat in one of the two bars and the site was extremely helpful in arranging for us to all meet up for our christmas party evening where we had an excellent meal, and an entertaining Quiz from Angie and a very funny Chinese Auction organised by Janet and John, (who has the knitted doll?)

After 5 days of fun, laughter and Christmas Spirit it was time to say goodby but we will be back!
