Camping Lido Tolo

Today we decided to take the mountain and coastal route to our next campsite rather than the easier faster main road although it’s quite difficult to follow a map as the road signs are in Greek (see my photo) however we definitely made the right decision as we were rewarded with a stunning drive over the Parnonas mountains to 5,000ft where we stopped for coffee and honeynutcake at the pretty small mountain village of Kosmos, near the mountain pass. Leaving the village we met a goatherd, his dog and a large flock of goats coming up the road very entertaining!! Carried on down the mountain until we reached the coast. We took a narrow steep road down to a seaside town where we stopped for lunch. Then on another scenic coastal route to our campsite by the beach at Tolo. We had a quick swim and a walk into town. Another good day.
