Portland Sailing

Wednesday and we made our way to Portland Marina to meet friends for a sail on their yacht around Portland and Weymouth Bay.  Another hot day with no wind so no good for sailing but had a beautiful tour using yacht engine around the cruise ships anchored in Weymouth Bay including P&O latest the Iona.Afterwards we drove to Portland Bill where we had a lovely lunch at the Lobster Pot Cafe (well recommended) and a good walk around the area along the cliffs.We then drove to a viewpoint looking down over the Chesil beach and Portland Marina.
