Dolgellau

We leave the beautiful Elan Valley to revisit a CL nr Dolgellau that we stayed on during our Tour Of Britain with the MGTC. In perfect weather we cycled 9 miles on the Mawddach Trail Dolgellau to Barmouth alongside the Estuary and across the  railway bridge.a very scenic route. Unfortunately the weather deteriorated so we spent the next few days dodging the rain. We visited Harlech Castle, and walked up the supposedly steepest Street in the world! Pretty Dolgellau and made a very scenic drive to a mountain lake where we climbed a hill which felt like a mountain! Before driving down to the coast at Fairbourne.
