Scala de Turchi

By on

Lovely morning said our goodbyes to Suellen and Tolly and set off to Agrigento and the Valley of Temples reputed to be the largest Greek Temple remains in the world. It was a hot day and quite tiring walking around the 4km site. It certainly is a very beautiful place. After this we headed towards the coast to find the Turkish Steps a series of white chalk cliffs at Scala de Turchi not far from Agrigento but got lost! A very nice man in truck kindly said follow me and took us to where we wanted to go! We were then wondering where to stay when we met an English couple who directed us to their campsite and it’s great! All facilities and overlooking the beach. 15e. Spent the evening chatting to them so ended a good day.
