Warren Bay & Coleridge Cottage

By on

Tuesday morning walked from farm across railway track up hill with good views across surrounding countryside. Watched the steam train puffing along the track before continuing our walk through Warren Park Campsite down to the deserted Warren Beach.

After lunch we drove to Nether Stowey to visit Coleridge Cottage home to Poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge and where he wrote his best known poems The Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Kubla Khan. A very interesting place and one of the National Trusts first properties.
