Kineton POA Rally
We arrived at Kineton where we met up with our friends in the Pilote Owners Club, our first rally for a long time due to Covid and lockdown. The rally marshals had arranged a cream tea on the first day which was good news for me as it was my birthday! The following day we drove out to a very interesting viewpoint at Burton Dassett. A series of undulating mounds and shallow valleys. Another spectacular viewpoint of surrounding countryside but very difficult to keep upright in the strong wind!
Afterwards we drove to NT Upton House and gardens. A short tour of the house Famous for its wonderful paintings and priceless porcelain. The terraced gardens and lakes were lovely full of flowers. Returning to Rally we joined in the impromptu Boules competition which caused a lot of laughs as Boules went in all directions on the grass. On ourĀ final day we walked into Kineton with friends for coffee and cake at The Garage Cafe. In the eveningĀ we all enjoyed fish and chips but it was a bit chilly!
