Thursday 26th April Bideford Welcomes Motorhomes

31  miles on bikes today on the Tarka Trail Bideford to Braunton, mostly on our own pedal power as flat and good surface just had to use pedal assist on our return journey as strong wind at times in open areas.  We still  had 3 bars of power left in our batteries when we got back to the motorhome. lots of wild flowers and Estuary birds on the mud flats. Our short stay here has been very enjoyable, a trip down memory lane for me yesterday (I lived here for 7 years), a perfect Camperstop overlooking the River Torridge and an excellent bike ride today.  There is  dedicated motorhome parking at Victoria Park in Bideford. We paid £2 for 4 hours on arrival at 2pm then £5 for 6pm -10am, then £3 for all the next  day a total of £10.
