Gythio

Today some of our group walked the 4miles from the campsite along the coast to the small harbour town of Gythio. The weather was beautiful clear blue sky sun but not too hot. On route we passed pretty villas lovely gardens and lots of wild flowers  The little town was busy with locals as it is the Greek Easter holiday weekend. The many restaurants were very busy we just stopped for a coffee before getting a taxi back to camp. Then time for a swim and relax on the beach. The sea was surprisingly warm for the time of year. Tomorrow we are celebrating the Greek Easter Day at a local family restaurant which takes place all afternoon sounds interesting !
