Troia Italy

Last night we boarded the ferry at 11pm and arrived back in Ancona Italy at 5pm The following day. We had good night sleeping in our motorhome and after saying our goodbyes to our group we made our way the Auchan Hypermarket which has an area dedicated for motorhomes. I had a big Big shop!! We left this morning on non toll coastal road but it was extremely busy and passed through numerous small towns lots of traffic lights and a 50k speed restriction so very slow. Also no coastal scenery  we were soon  yearning for Greece its lovely quiet roads and beautiful scenery. We transferred onto the toll road and things did improve apart from the long dark tunnels. After a long very hot and sunny journey we eventually arrived at Troia nr Foggia a hilltop town with an excellent free Sosta (Aires ) including electric water etc.
